Points for being adventerous, daring and melodic. But after an hour's worth of music, none of it is memorable and I'm not sure what the point of the constant tempo changes is, except to show off. Yes, he appears to have some musical genius -- but at some point, writing a song instead of a thesis might sound nice.

An absolutely fantastic rock & roll album — smart, funny, scary, and sexy as all get out. Can’t really even say, ‘they don’t make ‘em like this anymore,’ because they never did. Cinematic, rollicking, and fun — a carnivalesque ode to alerity.
