A lot of people are leaving negative reviews on Maren’s albums because they don’t like that she’s speaking out against *checks notes* racism. You can see it in the “not country/doesn’t represent country music” comments. This is a great contemporary country album (which all but a very few country albums are today), full of amazing songs of deep storytelling and Maren’s unique voice. Ignore the haters and check it out. If you like country music that’s on the radio these days, you’ll probably like this album!

Let her take the stand and swear under oath that she hasn’t said something she has regretted while under the influence. Heck I bet she regrets that picture of her on the raft, drinking, with her newborn baby without a life vest on. If that picture didn’t surface would she have said she never did it. Doesn’t mean anyone should burn her at the cross because I’m sure that one picture doesn’t truly mean she is a horrible mother. It just means she made a mistake that others don’t agree with. You would have thought from that ONE experience alone she would be more humble, but clearly the world should have CANCELLED her because she probably just leaves her baby unattended in the bath tub (not nice to make assumptions Maren), does NO one any good. SILENCE is GOLDEN!
